Here is a link dedicated to exposing Tom Deckard. He is an admitted serial adulterer who is not qualified to be a minister in the body of Christ, much less a “prophet”. Please pray for those that are caught in his delusion.—god-says–2.php

The Truth About the Gospel

The church today seems to awash with so-called prophets. Most are self-proclaimed, and most are easily exposed as false. Whether their prophecies come to pass or not, these men and women “keep on keepin’ on”, to the great detriment of the church of Jesus Christ.

Tom Deckard is one such false prophet. He makes great boasting claims about how he is 100% accurate in all his predictions, but I cannot find a single source document, audio file or video supporting his claims. He claims to have predicted 9/11 two years before it happened; the AIDS epidemic; the bird flu pandemic (is it really a pandemic?) and a host of other events.  All these issues aside, the real issue with Mr. Deckard is his treatment of the law and the New Covenant.

Like the British Israelism proponents, Deckard bases his entire worldview on the false teaching that the 10 tribes of…

  1. If you have ears to hear, hearken to your maker!

“Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD: And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.” Malachi 4:5-6

“And Jesus answered and said unto them, Elias truly shall first come, and restore all things.” Matthew 17:11

“And they asked him, saying, Why say the scribes that Elias must first come? And he answered and told them, Elias verily cometh first, and restoreth all things; and how it is written of the Son of man, that he must suffer many things, and be set at nought.” Mark 9:11-12

“And now I say unto you, Refrain from these men, and let them alone: for if this counsel or this work be of men, it will come to nought: But if it be of God, ye cannot overthrow it; lest haply ye be found even to fight against God.” Acts 5:38-39

“Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.” Revelation 14:12

“Of these things put them in remembrance, charging them before the Lord that they strive not about words to no profit, but to the subverting of the hearers. Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness.” 2 Timothy 2:14-16

“Now therefore hearken, O Israel, unto the statutes and unto the judgments, which I teach you, for to do them, that ye may live, and go in and possess the land which the LORD God of your fathers giveth you. Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you.” Deuteronomy 4:1-2

“And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely. For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book. He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.” Revelation 22:17-21

Please do not just him this quick. Here are the excerpts of his teachings. Listen to them before you make another comment about him.

What if God has indeed sent a real prophet, a prophet like Moses and Elijah?? If he is real, you will be judged big time by the real God. So please be careful before you judge. 🙂

RP, thanks for your comment. However, I do dismiss him. He is a false “prophet” in that he is no prophet of the Lord. He contradicts the revelation of Christ by trying to put the Church back under the old covenant law. The book of Galatians is very clear, as is Romans. The law was our tutor to bring us to Christ. We are now under the Royal Law of Christ Himself.

The Orthodox Church has been passing down the teachings of the Apostles since Pentecost. Tom Deckard flatly contradicts the teachings of the Church of Jesus Christ, inventing his own interpretations. Besides, his own moral failings would disqualify him from serving in ministry in that he is an unrepentant adulterer and has been divorced and remarried. I would suggest you look elsewhere for your spiritual nourishment. Get to know the original.

      • RP says:

Alec, the Law is not done away with and I didn’t want this prophet Tom to tell me that. If you have your Bible with you, you can figure it out yourself. This is a very long comment. If you are sincere about your faith in Jesus Christ, take your time n read it with an open heart.

If you read the Book of Acts clearly, you will see that all the apostles kept the Sabbath and the feasts of the Lord. Open your heart and go through the following verses. My comments are put after “///” notation.

        About Paul and the Law:

Quoting Paul below from Book of Acts alone:

Acts 18:21: But bade them farewell, saying, I must by all means keep this feast that cometh in Jerusalem: but I will return again unto you, if God will. And he sailed from Ephesus. ///Paul wanted to keep a feast and he ran to Jerusalem for that. There are 3 feasts where G-d expects His people to gather in Jerusalem. Pentecost, Feast of Tabernacles and Passover.

Acts 20:16: For Paul had determined to sail by Ephesus, because he would not spend the time in Asia: for he hasted, if it were possible for him, to be at Jerusalem the day of Pentecost.

Acts 21:26: Then Paul took the men, and the next day purifying himself with them entered into the temple, to signify the accomplishment of the days of purification, until that an offering should be offered for every one of them. ///Offering is part of law

Acts 24:14: Paul, “But this I confess unto thee, that after the way which they call heresy, so worship I the God of my fathers, believing all things which are written in the law and in the prophets.” ///He believed all that and kept the law and taught men so!!

Acts 25:8: While he answered for himself, Neither against the law of the Jews, neither against the temple, nor yet against Caesar, have I offended any thing at all.

Acts 25:25: But when I found that he had committed nothing worthy of death, and that he himself hath appealed to Augustus, I have determined to send him. ///Hope you know the punishment for violation of Law is death then. Paul was not worthy of death coz he kept every bit of the Law!

Acts 26:5: Which knew me from the beginning, if they would testify, that after the most straitest sect of our religion I lived a Pharisee. ///Being a Pharisee, he had taken an oath not to ever break the Law, if he does, he will be put to death.

Romans 7:7: What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet.

Romans 7:12: Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good.

Again from the Book of Acts

Act:13:14: But when they departed from Perga, they came to Antioch in Pisidia, and went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and sat down.
Act:13:15: And after the reading of the law and the prophets the rulers of the synagogue sent unto them, saying, Ye men and brethren, if ye have any word of exhortation for the people, say on. /// The apostles were reading the Law and Prophets on the Sabbath day! Nothing in the Covenant changed after Christ’s death and resurrection except that Christ fulfilled the sacrifice of Lamb on Passover part of the Law and gave us the licence to enter Heaven through Him.

Act:13:42: And when the Jews were gone out of the synagogue, the Gentiles besought that these words might be preached to them the next sabbath. ///Gospel and the Law was preached to the gentiles on Sabbath days, not on sunday.

Act:13:44: And the next sabbath day came almost the whole city together to hear the word of God.

Act:16:13: And on the sabbath we went out of the city by a river side, where prayer was wont to be made; and we sat down, and spake unto the women which resorted thither.

Act:17:2: And Paul, as his manner was, went in unto them, and three sabbath days reasoned with them out of the scriptures,

Act:18:4: And he reasoned in the synagogue every sabbath, and persuaded the Jews and the Greeks (gentiles). /// sunday was never an option for the Apostles and you can see that from the above few scriptures. It was always the Sabbath day, for both the jews and the gentiles.

        Peter comments about Paul’s epistles:

Also, when interpreting what Paul is telling, one MUST know the Law. Even Peter was confused after reading his epistles! Paul’s epistles were addressed to specific churches with specific problems. So you should always read it with the context. Read below

        2 Pet:3:15: And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you;
2 Pet:3:16: As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are UNLEARNED AND UNSTABLE wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.
2 Pe:3:17: Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness.

In the coming future! Once Jesus returns as the King of Kings!

Zacheriah 14:16:- And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, and to KEEP THE FEAST OF TABERNACLES. 17And it shall be, that whoso will not come up of all the families of the earth unto Jerusalem to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, even upon them shall be no rain. 18And if the family of Egypt go not up, and come not, that haveno rain; there shall be the plague, wherewith the LORD will smite the heathen that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles. 19This shall be the punishment of Egypt, and the punishment of all nations that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles. ///In the future, after His 2nd coming, Jesus is going to implement the Law, starting with the feast of tabernacles!!

        In the book of Revelation:

Rev 12:17: And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, AND have the testimony of Jesus Christ. // Why do you think in the last days, the devil is angry and want to KILL those who keep the commandments and have the testimony of Jesus?!

Rev 14:12: Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, AND the faith of Jesus.

Rev 22:14: Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

        What John says:

1John 2:3-4: And hereby we do know that we know him (God), if we keep his commandments. He that saith, I know him (God), and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

1John 3:4: Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.// If you don not keep the Law (which means you do not know the Law), you are sinning.

In the so called “Old Testament”:

Proverb:28:9: He that turneth away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer shall be abomination.

Psalms:105:8: He hath remembered his covenant for ever, the word which he commanded to a thousand generations. /// thousand generations, ie almost 40,000 years??!! which means the Law is still present NOW!!
        Psalms:105:9: Which covenant he made with Abraham, and his oath unto Isaac;
Psalms:105:10: And confirmed the same unto Jacob for a law, and to Israel for an everlasting covenant.

And there are many more Covenant supporting verses in the Bible. Have an open heart, take your time and read this whole comment.

Thank you for your reply. Just one question, RP, do you travel to Jerusalem 3x per year as instructed?

Sabbath/Sunday: Of course the Apostles went to the synagogue on the 7th day Sabbath; that is where the Jews they were seeking to evangelize were. They went a preached the Gospel to them. Once Christians were gathered, they would meet together on Sunday mornings to celebrate the resurrection of Christ and break bread in thanksgiving.

Paul states, “I became all things to all men so that by any means I might win some. To the Jew I became as a Jew; to the Gentile as one without law (not that I was without the law of Christ).”

Please carefully read Paul’s letter to the Galatians. The law was our tutor to bring us to Christ, now that Christ is come, we have only the Royal Law spoken by Christ “As the Father has loved me, so I have loved you, and so you shall have the same love one for another.” In keeping this single command, we will keep all the Law and the Prophets as Jesus himself declared “Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart; with all they soul; with all thy mind; and with all thy strength. And you shall love thy neighbor as thyself. On this hang all the Law and the Prophets.”

Remember that Paul condemns keeping new moons and sabbaths as these were a shadow of the good things to come. “On the seventh day, God rested from all His works.” On Friday, the sixth day, Jesus hung on the Cross and declared “It is finished”. On the seventh day, God (Christ) rested from all His works.” Hebrews tells us that this is the Sabbath rest for God’s people, our remission of sin and resting in our co-crucifixion with Christ.

        God bless.
